Why reptiles? Why do you keep reptiles and not a more traditional animal?

What’s a traditional animal? I’ve also got a dog. I’ve had cats, rabbits, hamsters, everything. I love reptiles, I’ve always been fascinated since I was a child and the fascination grew. So I keep reptiles.

With snakes and other animals, educating people about them is great. It’s getting them over the “Ah, it’s horrible, does it bite? Is it venomous?”

No, look, I’ve had this since it was this big. It’s now 14 foot and 4 stone. It’s just like a Great Dane. It’s big and soppy.
