RRK open letters

RRK publishes open letters when important issues affecting responsible reptile and exotic pet keeping need to be brought directly to the attention of policymakers, regulators and other decision-makers.

These letters set out our concerns, share relevant evidence and expertise, and offer practical support to help inform better decisions. Publishing them openly also provides a clear public record of the issues we have raised, the action we have requested, and the work RRK is doing on behalf of responsible keepers and the wider sector.
