My name is Jay, and I own a small insect breeding operation on a very rural Canadian mountainside.

I am a graduate of The Amphibian Foundation's Husbandry and Captive Management programs, and I provide local husbandry consultations. We're very passionate about bringing higher welfare standards to Canada, as they are in the UK and some other countries, and new science and research.

I occasionally do outreach in schools or daycares about local native species conservation, and provide support to local humane societies and wildlife programs when needed.
