Semi-desert habitat

Here you will find sparse amounts of foliage and rocky outcrops which will help create microhabitats. Ground-water level may be higher here, so ‘fossorial’ animals that like to dig may have access to higher humidity within their burrows. Temperatures may drop a little cooler in winter than in full-desert regions but, for the most part, it will remain pretty warm throughout the year.
